Your personal details will never be shared with any 3rd party other than those to execute your order

KLARNA PAYMENTS

In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.

DELIVERY

Delivery is free on all parcel orders over £349 (net of vat). Orders under £350 (net of vat ) will incur a small delivery charge according to weight.

 

Due to ever increasing costs of hauliers pallet delivery charges are varying from month to month. As a consequence this service is currently “ Price on application “ until further notice.

Consequential losses cannot be considered due to late delivery and or human error.

Delivery is normally by APC transport however under certain circumstances another courier may be hired  All tracking information will be supplied.

Standard delivery is between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday – Friday.

Saturday deliveries can be arranged at a subsidy.

Standard delivery is only available to mainland Great Britain only.

Areas such as Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man etc will, unfortunately, incur a reasonable surcharge – Call for details.

Your goods will be delivered by a 3rd party courier. You MUST ensure the goods are in good condition prior to signing for them. Claims for faulty goods cannot be entertained once signed for as perfect. If you are in doubt and the driver has a digital signature pad please write any concerns on a piece of paper and get the driver to sign it before you sign, if possible take the vehicle registration number. Your goods will be fully insured during transportation.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

We normally deliver within 3-5 working days from receiving your verified order. You as the customer will always be kept informed of the delivery date and be furnished with all the tracking information. During exceptionally busy periods please allow 5-7 days. If you are in any doubt please feel free to call us.

Please note as with all flooring suppliers larger orders will be delivered on a pallet.  This is generally known as “ kerb side delivery “ within the logistics industry. Due to governmental laws delivery vehicles with tail lifts are only given very limited time to park and unload.  All drivers have a pallet truck and are instructed to place the pallet as close to your request such as a front door or in a garage.  However they are neither insured or indeed allowed to enter your premises..

We strongly suggest you book your fitter once your goods are in your possession. Please always allow 24 hours acclimatisation time prior to installing.

Under certain circumstances where customers require the flooring sooner this is often possible. Please call for details

For bespoke products such as ” Amtico Signature ” please allow circa 10 working days for the flooring to be manufactured and delivered.

Again during exceptionally busy periods please allow up to 12 days.

SECURITY

When you order from our website, your credit / debit card numbers are dealt with our payment gateway.  Your payment details are always held away from our website.

We will never disclose your details to any other 3rd party other than those employed to fulfil your order.

RETURNS (APPLICABLE TO BOTH FLOORBAY & CARPET CREATIONS CUSTOMERS)

Any faults or damage must  be reported to us within 60 hours of taking delivery. The physical goods must be inspected not just the packaging.

It is considered  by the couriers that this is sufficient time to have the goods in your possession and any claims thereafter can not be entertained and will sadly be rejected.

We cannot accept the return of goods left over from your installation.

Discontinued lines either for clearance or sourced specially cannot be returned.

Bespoke orders cannot be returned under any circumstances unless faulty.

Special orders are only returnable/cancellable at the suppliers discretion and will incur a restocking charge.

Transportation costs both ways are bourne by the customer on perfect goods returned.

Goods ordered in as a ” special ” or ” non stock items ” which are ordered in for you will be accepted as a return but a restocking charge inline with our costs will be applicable. In addition “ single box orders “ are non returnable as suppliers to ourselves will not accept returns due to batch / shade matching issues and the box therefore has zero value

Under the terms of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to “distance selling”, returns can only be considered where the request has been made within 14 days of the customer receiving the goods. If the return is agreed, then the customer has a further 14 days to return the goods.

FITTING

We are a “supply only company” and as such are liabilities are complete once we deliver goods in perfect condition.

We do have a data base of flooring fitters and telephone numbers are passed on only as an enhancement to our service. The fitters are self employed and as such any fitting that takes place is a separate contract between you and your chosen fitter and floorbay.co.uk or carpet creations cannot be under any circumstances be held responsible for any works that take place..

BY PLACING EITHER A TELEPHONE OR INTERNET ORDER WITH US YOU ARE AGREEING TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. This does not affect your statutory rights.
